We take photographs as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone.
~ Katie Thurmes, The Stories We Tell
Hello, my dear friends,
I am thrilled and honored to share that I was recently invited to discuss the importance of lifestyle photography and the power of print with Mary Marland, of Wild Doves, a new sustainable children's clothing company, and Liz Lazarus of Liz Lazarus Photography in New York City. Our discussion was recorded and is available as a podcast on the Wild Doves blog.
I'm deeply passionate about archival quality prints and albums that can be passed down through the generations as family heirlooms. The photos we take today will tell the story of our time, our communities, our families. They create a visual record of us as we really are and they illustrate the love we share.
Here's a highlight from the blog post : "In the era of smart phones and cloud storage we have thousands of digital memories stored on our machines but we may have lost track, or perhaps never experienced, the magic that unfolds when we bring a documentary style photographer into our home."
Be sure to listen to the complete 15 minute podcast on the Wild Doves blog.
Please leave a message and let us know what you think!
With love to all,
